Our Community

Member organizations endorse our mission and actively support our stormwater-related policy work, advocacy, and outreach. Members, as well as the general public, are welcome at our quarterly meetings and events, encouraged to utilize our outreach materials, and invited to suggest agenda items. There is no membership fee.

SWIM Coalition members include youth and community development groups, environmental education and preservation organizations, recreational water users, science institutions, architectural and engineering firms, and citywide, regional and national environmental organizations. Members advocate for clean water and sustainable stormwater management programs. This includes a truly sustainable view of watershed management, one that restores ecological systems, creates local economic opportunities, and equitably distributes the benefits of green infrastructure in NYC.
