The Army Corps of Engineers Storm Barrier Study: Interim Report has just been released.

We've highlighted the meetings that will take place in NYC in the listings below. Here is a link to our original blog post outlining the issues of concern about the barriers and the study.
Please be sure to attend the public meetings and send as many representatives as possible to ensure that public turnout is strong.
Below is the information about the public meetings:
Prior to the public meetings, a webinar summarizing the report will be available on the project website. Eight meetings are scheduled throughout the study area to provide an overview of the NYNJHAT Study Interim Report, answer questions, and receive input from the public.
Webinars will also be held (and can be accessed remotely) for interested stakeholders unable to attend one of the in-person meetings. The webinars will have the same presentation as the in-person meetings, as well as an opportunity to ask questions and submit written comments. Dates/times of the webinars will be announced shortly. Additional details on the meetings are also provided on the project website.
Agenda for All Sessions:
5:00 PM - 5:30 PM: Welcome/sign-in and poster session (30 minutes) *Except Brooklyn which starts at 5:30p
5:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Presentation by the study team (30 minutes)
6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Audience question and answer session. Additional poster session/discussion, time allowing
